Geocache Diet – Day 23

932 Geocaches – 2346 km on foot – 88lbs – 342 Days!

The geocache diet has gone global.  I have to thank the fine folks at the who were kind enough to mention the geocache diet on their Feb 7 geocaching podcast.  I was introduced to just recently by local geocacher coast2coast2coast, the same person who secretly sent word of the geocache diet to, and I am now a regular listener.  It is websites like this one that proves to me just how popular geocaching has become.  Thank you for the support!

I had a great morning of geocaching today.  I walked 8.5km while finding 6 geocaches in a wonderful wooded park and stunning beachside in the small resort area of Oyster River.  Oyster River must be the Golden Retriever capital of the world as every single person on the trail seemed to have one or more.  I didn’t get any ‘are you looking for drugs in the bushes’ looks today, instead I only got ‘what are you doing on these trails without a Golden Retriever’ looks.  I will need to borrow one for my next hike in Oyster River so I can fit in.
