We have recently watched the movie Where the Wild Things Arewith the kids. Bryce mostly ignored it and played with his cars and Jada cried a lot. We decided not to traumatize her much longer so we stopped the movie short and put Bryce and Jada to bed. Annika, Martin, and I finished watching it, and I’m glad we did as I wanted to see what all the hype was about. I think it was a fun movie for Annika in part since she loves the book, but too long and too low for a four year old to have the patience to sit though. She kepted asking us when Max was going to go back home again. As an adult, I enjoyed the movie. I give it a 7 out of 10.
When Annika came out of preschool yesterday with her face painted and handmade bunny ears of her head, I couldn’t help thinking of the movie. We went to the park across the street and had a wild rumpus of our own. Really I just wanted to take pictures, because she was just so cute.
